181 Teachers Charged with Sex-related crimes in 2022 so far
What is important about this isn't merely exposing what happened, but what powerful entities are actively protecting these people.
So it's common knowledge now that Twitter is a place that will curtail speech it deems offensive to marginalized groups, especially after several prominent users were suspended for 'hate speech' for simply using the word 'groomer'. James Lindsay was the first, and then Tim Pool. But this isn't the first instance of Twitter suspending people for spurious reasons.
In recent memory, Jordan Peterson was suspended from Twitter for misgendering and deadnaming Elliot Page by calling it Ellen Page. I won't get into the rigamarole of capitulating to compelled speech, I'll just find a way to maliciously comply, if nothing else. Anyway, not too long after Peterson's suspension, prominent political commentator Dave Rubin was suspended for posting a screenshot of the tweet that resulted in Peterson's suspension. But this rabbithole of banning people for stupid reasons goes much, much deeper.
Meghan Murphy, a Trans exclusionary feminist, was also banned for misgendering and deadnaming someone. Additionally, the British rapper Zuby was banned for simply saying "Ok Dude" to someone. "Ok Dude" was considered misgendering, and it never occurred to whoever pulled the trigger at Twitter that Zuby probably didn't even know the gender of the person to whom he was responding.
I know I could rattle off examples all day, but I would rather get to the root of the agenda, here. What's going on is a thinly-veiled camouflage for the fact that they're aggressively censoring people they don't agree with while pretending they themselves are in the right in light of their actions. It remains a constant battle to remain morally aligned with whatever this hour's version of political correctness happens to be, nevermind the fact that often this zealotry comes at the cost of turning them into absolute hypocrites. An example of this is the fact that, during covid, "my body my choice" wasn't an option for people who didn't want to get vaccinated. Bodily autonomy was suddenly not a right for anyone when it came to covid vaccines, but the second Roe V Wade was overturned, what did the very same people start writing on their picket signs as they took to the streets? You guessed it - some variant of "My body my choice".
Your rights and opinions are only valid as long as they align with what the Institutional left is trying to push out in their agenda. Think about Macy Gray being browbeaten relentlessly by the left to walk back her comments about trans women never being able to be real women. She was made to go on the Today Show under the thin guise of promoting a new album, and the very first question Hoda Kotb asked her was in reference to her comments about trans people. Hoda effectively set the stage and it was then Macy Gray's job to grovel before the raging woke mob and prostrate herself before the omnipotence of Institutional leftists. And she did so, because her loyalty to a paycheck was stronger than her desire to hold onto her dignity and to own what she said, regardless of the consequences.
What could've even happened to her? She gets dropped by her record label and just releases her music independently, making way more money without a record company taking a large bite out of it in exchange for marketing and representation? Marketing and representation are not worth what record companies gouge artists for, and in this era with so many mediums where you can get your work out to the masses independently, it makes no sense to capitulate to the whims of a middleman in exchange for services one could acquire anyway or arrange themselves.
The whole paradigm is an illusion. We can stop any time we like, we just need to wake up those with enough clout to bring their sizable platforms to independent mediums and to bypass big tech and the institutional left's stranglehold entirely. Stop worrying about short-term losses and think of the long-term gains. Dave Rubin started locals, and languished for a time, sure. But I think he's glad he did it. Dan Bongino has started Parallel Economies, an alternative payment processing company to shatter the hold that PayPal has over all those using their service, and Timcast.com has already entirely shifted their pay structure over to Parallel Economies to remove another potential avenue for issues from leftists exerting their power to attempt to retain control over their opponents' businesses and revenue streams.
There is still value to left-controlled platforms, but you have to utilize it with considerable savvy, and have backup plans for when the woke mob inevitably comes for you. Never stop speaking your mind, just do it intelligently and don't give them enough cause to ban you. Use the ToS on all platforms as a weapon against your opponents. And speaking out against the abuse and grooming of children by teachers and other authority figures in their lives is not only your right, it's your responsibility. Don't be scared of a little suppression, it's going to come. And it's a good thing when it does, because that means the enemy is feeling the sting.
