Abortion is a divide-and-conquer issue to distract you and here's why
Why do we fixate on abortion when there is so much more at stake? We might all be aborted if a stupid geriatric puppet President's inept policies plunge us into a world war.

I can't stand it. Decades of debate over abortion that could've likely solved much bigger problems had that amount of thought been used to address them. It's very popular with politicians, as well. It galvanizes their base that agrees with them and makes those people more receptive to complying with that candidate's policy positions on other things. It's the glue that binds people to a political party, very often.
I suppose that's why I just hate hearing about it so much. I've been left behind by both heads of the Uniparty™ in my lifetime. I was one of of the most Anti-Bush, anti-endless wars people you would ever meet, and then Obama came along and did so much killing we ran out of bombs after I voted for "hope and change". I never was a big fan of Trump but I hated Hillary far more because she has to be the most intellectually repulsive people ever. Literally a turd sandwich vs a giant douche.
Doesn't matter though, if I ever garner enough attention to draw Sauron's eye to me I'll be labeled alt-right. There are no good solutions for me, and I advocate more for dismantling the false dichotomy our country is held hostage under. But for folks like me, the game is rigged.
So this Substack is the start of something else for me, maybe a futile scream into the void, but at least I'm mobilizing something to advocate for this: Stop letting pointless issues divide us. A house divided against itself cannot stand. Likewise, a population that can't stop fighting amongst themselves will never look toward the power structure at the feeble old nursing home patients whose life goals are to retain dominion over you without giving you much more than bread and circuses in return.
I'll spell it out in Zoomer-ese:
Look at who is saying something, why they’re saying it, and what they stand to gain from having people act upon it. Usually whatever they post comes with a link to donate to their political party or their campaigns directly. Follow the money and things will always make sense. Think about why homelessness is such a prevalent issue. Why drugs are such a prevalent issue. Stopping both of these things doesn’t make anyone any money. Stopping one of them hurts the other. So we keep both going. Charities get to play on your good nature for donations to causes for the homeless, government agencies get billions in funding to continue failing to stop homelessness and drugs, and the CIA gets to keep running drugs for the profit of all those who are complicit.
Oh, you didn’t know? The U.S. Government is a drug cartel. Why do you think drugs are illegal? It’s not because they’re bad for you. Why do you think marijuana legalization has made massive strides? Because it really is a gateway drug, and the U.S. Government wants you on it so you’ll move up the ladder eventually and buy the hard stuff on the black market they created and continue to maintain. And when marijuana is legalized on the Federal level, they’ll have already bought stocks and options to make money off that, too. And the SEC will look the other way then, too.
There will be more on this stuff to come in the near future. For now I only want to appeal to your sensibility as a rational voter: Think about what both sides have done to you before you cast your votes.
