Alex Jones is now in Room 101 for thought crime; Sandy Hook trial goes to jury deliberations

Tired of my 1984 references, yet? They're so timely these days. Anyway, let's talk about the kangaroo court situation surrounding Alex Jones.

The news coverage of this whole trial has been just shameful. Journalists feel safe in misrepresenting Jones' words and positions on things and have zero intention of getting to the truth about anything. They just want to see someone they despise suffer for the crime of opposing and exposing them for the liars they are for decades.

Now there are compelling arguments that Jones, at least at one time, was an agent provocateur who would derail peaceful protests to get them shut down. Some even think he's a CIA asset to this day. It would certainly explain how he gets the info that he does. I personally believe that, in some ways, his true purpose was to be a character and make conspiracy theorists look like raving lunatics. So either he's being scapegoated with an airtight escape being guaranteed to him in exchange for leaving the public eye forever, or some of these theories about him never held water in the first place. Hard to say.

Anyone keeping track should not think that Jones is quite so crazy when you consider how many 'crazy conspiracy theories' have come true for the last 11+ years alone. Snowden's revelations seemed to cause a cascade effect when people finally took these oft-ignored facts seriously. Was Snowden an insane conspiracy theorist? Didn't seem like it to me, although recently he has taken to interjecting a lot of speculation about various things on social media. Hell, I do that, too. Nothing wrong with thinking aloud.

This whole thing with Jones, though, sets a dangerous precedent where people will be taken to court for words alone that should be protected under the 1st amendment, but aren't. Sure, it's a civil case and the only punishment will be the payment of damages, but that will have far-reaching implications for Jones' life and business. I believe this is about sending a message to anyone not under the big corporate umbrella. The alternative media - of which I'm a part, or working on it - has gotten too powerful in recent years. I have a feeling more situations like this will arise, so we all should phrase things very carefully.

While they claim that Republicans want to have a convention of states to rewrite the constitution, the institutional left themselves wants to outright flout all aspects of our most important founding document in this nation. All because they want total control and an end to all opposition to their greedy power grab. It's up to people like us to stop it and maintain the freedom this nation was founded to grant to its people, but the toll is a constant siege by which hostile actors wish to destroy us and what we stand for. Eternal vigilance is the price of freedom, after all. And this is why I bother screaming into the void, because if even one person hears and gets the message through all the noise, then I've done my job.

For those who've read 1984, you'll remember that those accused of thought crime ended up being tortured and re-educated in the Ministry of Love. The worst step of this process being room 101 where your worst fears are used against you and your tormentors unmake that part of you as a person that engages in free thought and longs for freedom, especially the freedom to say 2+2=4. My own conspiratorial mind believes that Alex started dropping too much truth in with the insanity and it became inconvenient for those at the top. So he must suffer in room 101, faced with his greatest fears and being forcibly re-educated while a derisive public jeers.

All that's left now is to see how this loaded kangaroo court fucks Jones over. I guess all this is to hold the institutional left hate mob over until Trump officially declares his intention to run for President again. Then they can laser focus all their hate on him again and enjoy the ratings resurgence. CNN must be counting the seconds at this point, their anchors who are on the chopping block absolutely begging for the Orange Man to come back so they can slander him 24/7 again and get that leftist viewership back who grew bored when their object of ire was no longer in the Whitehouse.

In reality, I don't see this leading anywhere good. I only see more journalists getting this treatment, all for the crime of wrongthink. It might become likely that someone like myself ends up in a similar situation. I don't know how long the word 'allegedly' will stave off the lions but hey, we'll give it the ol' college try.
