Armed man killed in Cincinnati while trying to breach FBI office
Citing the raid on Trump's Residence at Mar-A-Lago as his pretext, Ricky Shiffer announced his intentions on social media while calling for other Trump supporters to "Kill the FBI on sight"
An armed man who attempted to breach the FBI's Cincinnati office on Thursday has been identified as 42-year-old Ricky Shiffer, according to the Ohio State Patrol. Shiffer attempted to breach the office Thursday morning before fleeing the scene while pursued by the police. After engaging in a standoff with police lasting several hours, Shiffer was shot and killed by a police officer.
2 days prior to the events on Thursday that saw him lose his life, Shiffer posted the following about his intentions on Truth Social under the username “@rickywshifferjr”.
One user asked Shiffer,” Are you proposing terrorism?” Shiffer’s response is chilling.
On Wednesday, he posted this.
One thing is certain, it took until the events of today for Truth Social’s staff to catch on to things, having since removed the account from their platform. I’ve reached out to Truth Social staff for comment on whether reports had been received about Shiffer’s posts, but have yet to receive any reply.
This was posted today at 9:29 am EDT:
This appears to be his last social media post. After this post, he was pursued to a rural Ohio cornfield after leading police on a chase that spanned over 40 miles. Shots were exchanged between Shiffer and the officers before he took refuse in a cornfield, beginning a standoff that lasted more than 5 hours. Shiffer forced police to use deadly force in the end after exhausting all peaceful resolutions to bring the standoff to a close. Shiffer then pointed his rifle at police, forcing them to open fire. Shiffer was shot dead in the cornfield around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Ohio State Patrol Lieutenant Nathan Dennis stated in a press briefing on the matter.
As is my way, I feel compelled to speculate and examine things. What I want to get into regarding Shiffer is his presence in Washington D.C. around the time of the Jan. 6 events. A video posted by Shiffer to Facebook reveals that he had been in Washington D.C. at a Pro-Trump rally on the night before the events of Jan. 6, and subsequent posts reveal he had a run-in with Ray Epps, the man who curiously still has not been charged with anything in connection to Jan. 6. Shiffer, looking to prevent the certification of election results, said the following of his exchange with Ray Epps.
“On the fifth I tried to explain to Epps that it would only make sense to go into the building if they approved the fraudulent votes,” Shiffer wrote in his bio. “He of course went back to yelling ‘we have to go IN to to the Capitol.’ I, unfortunately wrote him off as a dumbass. They did approve those votes. I am ready to handle this like an American.”
FBI Director Christopher Wray released a statement regarding the incident:
“Unfounded attacks on the integrity of the FBI erode respect for the rule of law and are a grave disservice to the men and women who sacrifice so much to protect others. Violence and threats against law enforcement, including the FBI, are dangerous and should be deeply concerning to all Americans. Every day, I see the men and women of the FBI doing their jobs professionally and with rigor, objectivity, and a fierce commitment to our mission of protecting the American people and upholding the Constitution. I am proud to serve alongside them.”
Oh so now you care about violence against law enforcement all of a sudden? Typical. We didn’t see any of that fervor when it came to the 5/29 insurrection. No May 29th committee, no Antifa goons having their lives ruined by being held without trial for over a year in the same gulag that the Jan. 6 defendants found themselves in, nothing.
Repeat after me: Two-tiered justice system.
And no, I’m not advocating for anything but asking questions and getting to the bottom of why having purple hair and a co-exist bumper sticker on their Prius entitles the noisy minority of Twitter leftists to just go smash and grab anything and everything and suffer no consequences because Soros-backed DAs have been told to let them go, but if someone is a jaywalker wearing a MAGA hat? There would be calls in the mainstream media to burn them at the stake.
But let’s get back to Ray Epps and Shiffer.
In my mind this has to force the hand of those claiming they want to get to the bottom of Jan. 6. They have to subpoena Ray Epps and they have to get to the bottom of his purpose in the whole situation. Isn’t it suspicious that leftists, despite being so adamant about bringing everyone involved in Jan. 6 to justice, seem all too happy to let Ray Epps walk? They even wrote a pity piece making him out to be an unfortunate victim. I’m not saying he’s a Fed, but that is certainly curious.
Shiffer’s actions should be a guide on what not to do if you feel you must do something to stick up for your rights as an American. People who came before have already showed you how to peacefully object to tyranny, it’s time to use the right playbook.
