Crimea bridge explosion connected to Ukraine intelligence
An unnamed official outed his own country's involvement, does this also give a clue about who really perpetrated the Nord Stream pipeline attacks?
A massive blast struck the 12-mile-long Kerch Strait Bridge on Saturday, resulting in at least three deaths. The structural damage from the blast, along with the resulting fire that immolated the affected portion, took its toll and caused that section of the bridge to entirely collapse into the sea below, cutting off one of the most vital supply lines for Russian forces fighting in Southern Ukraine.
The blast also severely damaged a train that was transporting a fuel shipment while it was passing over the bridge, immolating its payload.
Putin addressed the attacks in a press conference on the matter, laying the blame at the feet of Ukraine.
”…there’s no doubt it was a terrorist act directed at the destruction of critically important civilian infrastructure of the Russian Federation. And the authors, perpetrators, and those who ordered it are the special services of Ukraine.” Putin declared.
This statement was backed up by Alexander Bastrykin, the head of Russia's Investigative Committee, who also seemed to allude to the involvement of Pro-Ukraine Russian double agents living in Russia and the involvement of other as-of-yet unnamed foreign actors, implying an international effort to bring down the bridge.
"Ukrainian special services, and citizens of Russia and foreign countries helped in the preparation of this terrorist attack.” said Bastrykin in solidarity.
An unnamed Ukrainian official, speaking on condition of anonymity, affirmed the Russian narrative that Ukraine was behind the attack and described what happened, as well as how the attack was carried out. He pinned it on Ukrainian Intelligence using what amounts to a ‘truck bomb’ to perpetrate the attack, detonating it as the truck traversed over the bridge. There was no word on whether this was specifically a suicide attack, though that would signify a particular desperation on the part of the Ukrainians.
In response, Vladimir Putin ordered airstrikes on targets in Ukraine that include the capital, Kyiv, in what has amounted to the most damaging airstrike campaign to date in the Russia-Ukraine war, declaring that, “leaving such a crime without a response is just impossible,” After all, this attack was personally directed at Putin based on the fact that he personally presided over the opening of that bridge and saw its construction as a significant accomplishment.
This is just another entry that signifies Ukraine’s descent into utilizing guerrilla warfare and terrorism against Russia. Darya Dugina, a civilian journalist and the daughter of Aleksandr Dugin, a political analyst and strategist known for having a close relationship with Vladimir Putin, was killed in a car bomb attack on August 20th, 2022, in an attack that is believed by U.S. intelligence to have been carried out by Ukraine.
All of these developments are making Neocons positively salivate over the prospect of large-scale warfare. Retired Army Lt. Col. Alexander S. Vindman, former Director for European Affairs for the United States National Security Council, has an especially disgusting Twitter feed with posts glorifying war. He was positively elated over the bombing of the Kerch Strait bridge, tweeting out this:
So how would this possibly connect Ukraine to the Nord Stream attacks? Modus Operandi. I’ve already outlined several occurrences that were all but admitted to have been perpetrated by Ukraine. If it’s in their wheelhouse to do something, I can’t imagine they would abstain. They certainly don’t seem to be doing so, with things like this bridge attack happening.
Why wouldn’t they [Ukraine] attack the pipelines? Why wouldn’t NATO, who is controlled in large part by the United States, utilize assets at their disposal to further wage this clear proxy war against Russia and disable pipelines that are under Russian control? Why also wouldn’t the United States in particular do this knowing full well that Europe would then have to come to us for their energy needs when Russia can no longer provide the needed oil and gas? Why wouldn’t neocon think tanks advise their puppets in power to carry out these acts to bring in record profits for publicly-traded defense sector stocks?
I simply cannot fathom any other scenario when you look at it through the lens of a country’s capability and willingness to either perpetrate a terrorist act, or utilize alliances to carry them out, especially if you have the full backing of the U.S. military industrial complex.
Right now, those missiles that Putin is launching into Ukraine do not have nuclear warheads, but our psychopaths at the top seem hellbent on pushing him to make that choice, all for record profits.
