Joe Biden demands quid pro quo from Saudi Arabia to help win midterms
This scandal couldn't come at a worse time for an ailing Democrat establishment as it's revealed that Biden is threatening Saudi Arabia in exchange for help in the midterms.
The Biden regime has been caught in a serious scandal involving Saudi Arabia, demanding their help in manipulating oil prices until after the midterm election in the U.S. with the help of Democrat legislators. Where Democrat legislators come in is simple — the Biden regime has ordered them to present legislation to pull military aid from Saudi Arabia until the Saudis comply with Biden’s demands. Didn’t we impeach Trump for something like that? Now I wonder if Adam Schiff will pursue Joe Biden with the same fervor as he did Trump. All signs point to ‘no’.
Several Democrat legislators have advocated for cutting military aid to Saudi Arabia recently, as well. In a press release Representatives Tom Malinowski (NJ-7th), Sean Casten (IL-6th), and Susan Wild (PA-7th) announced their intentions introduce a bill in response to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates’ support of cutting oil production that would withdraw U.S. troops and missile defense systems from these territories.
Senator Bob Menendez, D-N.J., who is chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said this in a statement about the matter, “The United States must immediately freeze all aspects of our cooperation with Saudi Arabia, including any arms sales and security cooperation beyond what is absolutely necessary to defend U.S. personnel and interests,”
I will also include Bernie Sanders, even though he’s technically an independent, because his Stockholm syndrome in relation to the Democrats still compels him to side with them, as seen in the following tweet.
This move by the Biden regime and their ilk comes after OPEC+ (OPEC and Non-OPEC allies) decided to slash oil production by 2 million barrels per day, likely in solidarity with Russia, who is an OPEC member state. This is the largest cut in production since early 2020, when the Covid-19 pandemic severely hindered demand for oil as a result of worldwide lockdowns. It seems their decision is final at least until December 4th, which is when OPEC+ will convene for another meeting, far too late to help Biden’s party.
The move by OPEC+ to cut production, combined with soaring energy prices and economic strife stemming from skyrocketing inflation ( still around 8.2% ) threatens to ratchet up gas prices — and by extension, the prices of goods and services in general — before the midterm elections in the United States. The concern is that voters will naturally cast the blame on the party in power and punish them accordingly. That concern is entirely founded, though it manifests less powerfully than it did in the Trump years, I find. It’s nice having the media on your side, I guess.
The Biden regime, desperate to keep the Democrats’ congressional majority, has stooped to levying threats toward Saudi Arabia, in particular, using the ‘energy-for-security’ agreement between the Saudis and the United States as a bargaining chip. A bargaining chip that isn’t nearly as persuasive as it was in years past. Saudi Arabia’s just not that into you, Biden.
But seriously, I do wonder if there will be any consequences for this transgression. For Biden and these legislators, I mean. If a quid pro quo is an impeachable offense for a President, shouldn’t it also result in expulsion for all the legislators who are outright engaging in said quid pro quo on behalf of the Biden regime? I’m willing to wager we won’t get a snazzy show trial like the January 6th hearings, though.
I’m just asking for some equal accountability, here. It gets incredibly frustrating to watch these snakes do whatever the hell they want without even so much as a peep, but yet they will use the full force of their leftist institutions to absolutely annihilate anyone else for the same exact crimes.
This is the epitome of ‘rules for thee, but not for me’ but then we already knew that was the case. Right, Nancy? Right, Gavin? Right, Hillary? Right, Joe?
