Joe Rogan under fire for encouraging people to vote republican and here's why
During his interview with Aaron Rodgers on The Joe Rogan Experience, Joe said the two-word phrase as dastardly as invoking He who shall not be named: "Vote Republican"
The social media beacons have been lit, and the object of ire is once again none other than Joe Rogan. Rogan seems to circuitously make his way into the crosshairs of cancel culture’s greasy-haired liberal arts majors, and his crimes are as heinous as ever. His offending contention? Telling people who were slighted by bad covid-19 policies to “Vote Republican”.
The comment came during a podcast where Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was his guest. Rodgers’ battles with the covid thought police are well-documented, so naturally a large portion of the discussion centered around the topic of the pandemic. It was quite a fruitful discussion, at that. I highly encourage people to listen to it.
Rodgers also, in my mind, proved he isn’t the typical dumb jock, being quite well-spoken and making well-reasoned points for why he couldn’t be vaccinated and why he fought against so much pressure put on him and other players unfairly by the NFL who Rodgers revealed is particularly discriminatory when it comes to unvaccinated players. It makes them look bad not to force 100% compliance, and likely if Rodgers were not an elite quarterback, he would’ve gotten dismissed faster than Kaepernick at a tryout.
But then, Rogan dropped the “VR” bomb and the world was destroyed. At least that’s how the doomers on the left are seeing it.
Rogan knew what he was doing when he said it, a devious look flashed in his eyes and a grin to match, the words rolling off his tongue and no doubt piercing the hearts of the tens of Twitter puritans who are so opposed to anything to do with the right, they only take left turns. You’d think they would become NASCAR drivers but there are way too many filthy Republican fans in the stands for them to be able to deal with that life. That and most of them are city-dwelling latte swillers who likely have never driven a car, but I digress.
You can search Rogan’s name at any given time and see how deep-blue institutional leftist journalists seethe at his very existence. An article entitled “How do you solve a problem like Joe Rogan?” seeks to dehumanize the popular podcast host, UFC commentator, and comedian into an obstacle the left must overcome in order to reach the authoritarian utopia they believe is being denied to them by stalwart rich people with a wide-reaching platform like Rogan, who they describe as ‘alt-right’.
If they weren’t calling him a fascist before, they definitely will now, nevermind the fact that his politics are more in line with those of classical liberal hippies than those of Richard Spencer. Nevermind the fact that he endorsed Bernie Sanders during the 2020 election cycle before the DNC again screwed him out of the nomination for the second time in as many Presidential election cycles. Here's how alt-right Joe is.
The real crime from Rogan is the fact that he has what’s called “Fuck you money”. It ultimately means no one can do a thing about his platform, barring some massive betrayal from Spotify. Spotify has faltered under pressure here and there, with some episodes of Rogan’s wildly popular podcast being erased for unstated reasons, but the company has said they won’t police his speech and won’t remove him at the behest of a few angry leftists, some of whom work in the company itself. They’re self-centered enough to believe that their misgivings will make Spotify believe they are a greater asset to have than the most popular podcast on planet earth, surely. Nothing wrong with that plan, nope. Let me know how that works out for you, Aiden and Chloe.
So cancel culture will try again, and they will fail again. If only they would put their efforts toward something productive, they might not have to envy successful people so much.
