Kanye West banned from banking with JP Morgan Chase
Having your own thoughts and opinions is always under attack, these days. It points to several key - and dangerous - incrementalisms that seek to gradually erode civil discourse.
Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has had his account terminated at JP Morgan Chase. Citing no specific reason in their letter to West, the global banking juggernaut — and recipient of $25 billion in U.S. taxpayer money in 2008 — has elected to cut ties with the rapper and entrepreneur for allegedly having his own opinions about the world. The bank has given West until November 21st of this year to move his accounts to another banking institution. One can just about guess what will happen after that — it’s unlikely any banks will have anything to do with him, going forward. At least in this country.
It’s ironic that a company that was all too happy to enable transactions where millions in illicit funds from the deep coffers of deceased high-profile pedophile Jeffrey Epstein has saw fit to cut ties with Kanye West, whose only crime was using his voice. It probably wasn’t a huge headline, just a little thing about JP Morgan Chase happily enabling a wire transfer of $31 million from Epstein to his child-trafficking madam, Ghislaine Maxwell. Just remember that before you go condemning Kanye for anything, these people are not innocent.
West’s original sin was bucking the trend of monolithic hate for Trump by expressing support for the former President and donning the MAGA hat — seen far and wide as the new Klan hood by democrats with no real grasp on history since the Ku Klux Klan was started by democrats. Democrats also fought to keep slavery legal in the United States, but we won’t talk about that.
West’s most recent sin, though, was expressing what many have called ‘anti-semitic’ viewpoints on Tucker Carlson’s show. That, naturally, begs the question — what happened to someone being about to speak ‘his truth’? We use excuses like that all the time to protect child grooming by activist teachers who are doing the bidding of a massive medical industry niche that is expected to profit a staggering amount of nearly $5 billion for elective surgeries to remove/repurpose otherwise functional, healthy body parts in children. It’s ‘their truth’ to try and brainwash children, I guess. And that’s fine, I don’t see their ability to function in society being impeded by massive institutions. If anything, they’re being incentivized to do it.
I’m not condoning West’s comments, but freedom of speech is absolute, no matter what people say. And yes, that does mean freedom from consequences. It should be implied in the 1st amendment as it is currently written, but since some believe it isn’t, there should be another amendment to the constitution to codify freedom from consequences for speaking one’s mind. West’s constitutional rights are being trampled. I thought the civil rights movement was supposed to prevent the rights of a person of color from being revoked?
Whatever happened to the drive to ‘elevate black voices’? It should be more specific. ‘Elevate black voices until they go against the mainstream narrative’. That seems more fitting, given the current state of things. Why is that, though? Why are black people expected to be a monolith? Why do black people who go outside of that monolithic hivemind get ostracized?
Joe Biden gave away the plan in 2020, didn’t he? “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black!” was the quote, if memory serves, and no one seemed to bat an eye except for silenced conservatives. But then he also sexually assaulted Tara Reade, and the very mention of that killed the #MeToo movement, yet no one batted an eye, save for silenced women whose voices were snuffed out to benefit Joe Biden.
The point is, there is a real push to create a hivemind collective incapable of deviating from the narrative approved by IngSoc the Democratic party. That is especially apparent in the black community, because without the black vote the democrats will never win another election.
This is why black people who have ‘left the plantation’ as some might say, are attacked by the media and their own people still caught in the spin cycle of the brainwashing they have experienced. We all remember Larry Elder being dubbed ‘the black face of white supremacy’ when he challenged leftist dictator Gavin Newsom in the California Recall election. And what about Candace Owens, who really brought this thing with Kanye to light? She is called every racist epithet in the book to describe black people who are disloyal to the black monolith by people of all colors, merely for being conservative and having her own set of views. I imagine the attacks will get more and more intense now that her documentary entitled ‘The Greatest Lie Ever Sold: George Floyd and the Rise of BLM’ is now available on the Daily Wire’s subscription service.
It’s painfully apparent that the institutional left, for all their might and reach, has overplayed their hand and is hanging on by a thread. Keep pushing, we’re winning. Sanity will eventually be restored, but we have to keep up the push.
Educate yourselves on the candidates who appeal to sanity, and vote in November.
