Mainstream media silent as protests rage worldwide

The media has been largely quiet about uprisings around the world, and here's why.

I offer to you a simple lesson on manipulation of public opinion and fervor. Bombard the public incessantly with whatever you want them to see/hear/believe/act upon. Hide whatever you don't want them to know about or believe in. Repetition motivates people to action. Silence causes complacency and ignorance.

It’s abundantly clear that governments around the world - particularly here in the United States - are asking the media to be silent about current events. Don’t want your citizens getting any silly ideas, after all. Sure, we’ve heard a little about the uprising in Sri Lanka, and the Dutch Farmer protests, but for my part I’ve found it difficult to go through mainstream channels to obtain much information about other protests.

Did you know that German farmers have begun to protest on the Dutch/German border in Heerenberg in solidarity with their Dutch counterparts? Me either, not without digging. Europe stands to suffer terribly from draconian measures being imposed that will severely hinder agricultural output indefinitely.

Did you know that Polish, Italian, and Spanish farmers have begun to protest as well out of fear that their governments will also see fit to cut them off at the knees with strict regulations that kneecap their production? Again, very little has hit the airwaves. You’re better off painstakingly searching local or regional news outlets than expecting ABC or CNN or Fox News to tell you about these things. We wouldn’t want to hearten those angry at the current state of affairs here at home. At least not when it isn’t politically expedient to foment unrest, like in the summer of 2020.

Seeing as this is my first article here on Substack, I will make you a promise - I vow to never hide the truth from you via gaslighting or outright omission, as is standard operating procedure for the bloated media industrial complex.

So I guess this is me giving you the lowdown on what I’m seeing in the world today, trying to mitigate a conspiracy of silence by the media to give you the honest truth about how our fellow human beings are feeling about their own dismal situations inflicted upon them by governments who think they’re above reproach by the people they claim to serve.

This is very much a situation where, if you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself.
