Media gaslighting is bad for your health
Not only does it serve to misinform, but mass gaslighting is also meant to act as a social contagion that has the handy side effects of increasing instances of anxiety and depression

It shouldn’t come as too much of a shock, but watching the news can indeed be bad for your health.
The mainstream news media has largely thrown out the book of ethics — if one ever existed — and instead operates on a principle of intentionally misinforming the public about things, as well as making people question how they remember certain events. The more salacious, the better.
This is textbook gaslighting and it can have some devastating effects.
For context, gaslighting is a rather popular method of psychological manipulation these days, where individuals intentionally deceive their target into doubting their own perception of reality.
The term originated from the 1938 play "Gas Light" (later adapted to film in 1944) where the husband tries to convince his wife she's losing her mind by dimming the gas lights in their home and denying it.
To put this tactic into focus, the internet, social media, and mainstream news media in general have been carefully constructed and deployed to make you believe things that simply aren’t true, and to make you question your sanity if you happen to remember events differently. The algorithms that determine what content is recommended for you will almost invariably default to your personal cocktail of fear porn.
And isn’t it so convenient that a psychological manipulation method that can lead to anxiety, depression, and even Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can be treated with a litany of products made by companies like Pfizer? The same Pfizer who advertises on news networks that, in recent years, have adopted a style where they broadcast a 24-hour cycle of fear porn and lies in order to keep susceptible people on-edge, eroding their mental and physical health.
There’s a pill for that.
The news cycle we are fed every second of every day is engineered to bludgeon you with whatever nonsense they believe will trigger that fear and doubt in you, coupled with the stresses of everyday life in general. Hell, most social media sites even refer to it as a ‘newsfeed’. Pay attention to the words that are used, they’re not used by accident.
Living your life in such a shambolic mental state often sees people seeking pharmaceutical solutions to the problems that they encounter when it all becomes too much to bear.
Well then, it’s a good thing that the very same people who pay for the gaslighting programming you’re exposed to every single day have drugs for what ails you.
When watching mainstream news shows, I’m sure you’ve heard this:
It’s a sick joke, at this point.
And not to be discounted, we all know about all the misguidance that came with the covid pandemic. Imagine being that perfectly placed to continue to dispense whatever information that Pfizer believes will have you running like your hair is on fire to a vaccination site in order to get their latest and greatest shot — because without it you’ll surely die painfully with a tube down your throat in the hospital. That’s what they want you to believe, anyway.
The ploy has always been to try and scare people into compliance, thereby creating customers. But I’m stubborn. And I wasn’t about to allow anyone to convince me that a sniffle was going to take me down. For people like me, the PR spinsters in control of pushing that poison shot on people attempted a different tactic.
Big pharma hedged their bets to mitigate vaccine hesitancy, telling people that they would kill either their own Grandma — or someone else’s Grandma — if they didn’t also get their vaccines and wear their masks anywhere and everywhere and be good little consumers.
I’ll be the first to tell you I’m a bad person, so kindly miss me with that bullshit. Besides, all of my grandparents passed away before the pandemic. Suck it.
The tactics recently, however, have been forced to shift.
While the media is still very much trying to scare you into complying with regular vaccinations and boosters on which Pfizer and other big pharma players plan to quadruple the price once the covid emergency is over so they can charge your private insurer top dollar for it, the tactics have changed to damage control as the number of excess deaths have risen dramatically in recent months in the wake of coerced compliance with the myriad of vaccines and boosters for covid-19 that are available now, often mandated for essential workers during the heights of the pandemic under duress.
”Get the jab or lose your job” was the ultimatum many people received. Many lost lifelong careers because of their refusals and will not be availed for recompense by the corrupt system that we live in for what they’ve lost. But I digress.
Excess deaths are defined simply as the number of deaths over the expected death toll in a given year. More than 1 million excess deaths have occurred in the United States alone since 2020. Articles about it will try and convince you that covid-19 is just doing that much damage, but after the first year that should have been factored into the statistics, so I reject that point entirely.
And to mention that the vaccines might be causing all these excess deaths will often see you getting banned or censored on social media.
The “experts” who are getting paid to do so all agree that they don’t know what is causing so many excess deaths but they seem to be very certain it’s not the vaccines, so they want you to think you’re an idiot for even believing it could’ve been a vaccine that was inadequately tested and rushed through for a virus that is less deadly than the flu, especially as we see even mainstream “news” sources like CNN’s Leana Wen admitting that covid deaths have been overcounted.
We’ve all seen the attempted obfuscations, trying to claim that things like climate change — and even EGGS —are causing the problems we’re seeing, but it’s all a lame smokescreen to protect the profits of Big Pharma.
Side note: It’s funny that fact-checkers are now lying about that article above that I linked to about eggs. It is exceedingly easy to circumvent the gaslighting from “official” fact-checker sites, though; just believe the opposite to be true. If their rating is false, it’s usually true. And if you spend five minutes researching it, you’ll see what I mean.
”The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.”
But more on topic, understand that we live in a post-truth society. Profits over people. Avarice over integrity. You don’t have to adhere to those rules, but you stand to lose if you’re going to compete with those who do. Caveat emptor.
Companies like Pfizer will do anything to keep the gravy train going. They have shareholders to appease, after all.
