Pfizer deploys fact-checkers to gaslight the public after admission of lack of covid-19 vaccine testing
Fact-checker armies, mobilize! Let the gaslighting begin!
In a turn of events that really shouldn’t surprise anyone, “fact-checkers” are naturally going to bat on behalf of Pfizer after one of their execs admitted to the European Union Parliament that Pfizer never actually tested whether their vaccine meant to combat the covid-19 pandemic would prevent the transmission of covid-19.
I’ve seen numerous sources that are outright twisting the narrative put forth from the aforementioned hearing in an attempt to prevent people from actually looking into studies that conflict with the narrative they’re currently pushing.
Reuters has a funny fact-check I enjoy:
It reads in typical gaslighting fashion, using well-placed sass to act like people are crazy for merely talking about what they saw Janine Small say were misconstruing what she meant when she answered “No” to this question: “Was the Pfizer Covid vaccine tested on stopping the transmission of the virus before it entered the market?” which was put forth by Rob Roos, a Dutch member of the European Union Parliament. Reuters is literally asking you to ignore the evidence of your eyes and ears. Very 1984. To read more about it, I have a previous article on it.
When the fact-checkers know they can’t explain away a problematic statement that utterly shatters the narrative and outs officials as blatant liars, they then default to the classic “missing context” defense.
The Associated Press has went with that defense in this article, citing that social media posts stating that Janine Small’s admission was being misconstrued, and said posts were missing context. Their evidence? “Pfizer never claimed that its clinical trial, upon which the vaccine was authorized for use, evaluated the shot’s effect on transmission.” I find that hard to believe considering leaders went with that narrative. TV talking heads like Rachel Maddow went with that narrative. Someone told these people to say this, and we know the FDA is financed by drug companies, with nearly half their budget coming from the very companies they’re meant to regulate. That seems like a tiny little conflict of interest, to me.
It honestly feels like a concerted effort to prevent any accusations of false advertisement, to me. Not that Pfizer can be held liable, the U.S. Government made sure of that. But what about their advertisers, such as Dr. Fauci, who claimed that transmission risk was ‘extremely low’ with the covid-19 vaccines.
President Joe Biden himself pushed the idea that the vaccine prevented transmission of covid-19, this video in particular has a very roundabout way, but it could be argued in court that he meant in his assertion that, because someone is vaccinated, they no longer need to mask because they can neither spread nor contract covid-19.
Dr. Vivek Murthy, the United States Surgeon General, spread the lie just last week, with this tweet:
Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla himself pushed the lie personally at one time, proving that it does indeed go all the way to the top of Pfizer, not merely a case of the mouth of Sauron Janine Small misspeaking. He at least seems to have tepidly retracted it, long after the massive government checks received in exchange for billions of doses of their vaccine have been cashed.
I mentioned Rachel Maddow earlier, who was a particularly vehement supporter of covid-19 vaccination. From a transcript of her March 29th, 2021 show, Rachel Maddow gave us the following, “...now we know that the vaccines work well enough that the virus stops with every vaccinated person.” That tells me she, too bought into that unspoken narrative. Were big pharma operatives pushing this on these powerful people with their massive platforms? Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, of all people, can confirm that the answer to that question is almost certainly yes.
Aaron Rodgers, during his interview on the Joe Rogan’s experience even confirmed that shills pushing vaccination on NFL players visited their training facility to encourage them all to get vaccinated, regardless of whether it was medically expedient for them as an individual, including Aaron Rodgers himself, who has an allergy to polyethylene glycol, an ingredient found in the covid-19 vaccines.
A rule I tend to live by is to always be skeptical as to why anyone would want to silence any piece of information. No one ever attempts to hide information that is blatantly false because it would be absurd to bother. For an example of that, see flat earth theory, or Biden’s economic assessments. I don’t see fact-checkers rush to disprove either of those things, despite them both being patently false and misleading. This rule should be applied to everyone, especially leaders and their henchmen masquerading as the arbiters of fact.
In closing, the fact-checkers are scrambling and, while it’s amusing to see, there are those out there who will believe them. Let’s all do our part in exposing the lies they’re forcing on the public.
