The psychology of tyranny as it applies to 2024

The people in power are telling you what they want you to endure, you just have to listen.

Nothing reveals more about a person than the way they wield power. And our leadership has been revealing horrid things to us for way longer than my own lifetime at this point. For reference, I’m 38.

A question plagues enterprising despots in the United States: How do you make people forego any claim to rights or privilege who grew up with the knowledge of that promise? It’s a toughie.

What do you do with a people that have pride in their idealized image of their nation and what it is meant to represent to them? Despots all throughout time have wrangled with that quandary in other lands, and many tactics were used to address the issue ranging from pogroms to propaganda.

What is the answer to that quandary for the United States elite?

Replacement. Change the population like you would change the oil in a fucking Chevrolet.

Well, maybe that’s slightly hyperbolic, but dilution comes before the purge. And we are being diluted right now.

This is why the powers that be are so desperate to convince everyone that the "great replacement" is just a conspiracy theory bandied about by white people who don't want to become a minority in the United States. But it isn’t about race at all - it’s about American citizens being too attached to the bill of rights and the ever-present threat of revolution that taking it away abruptly presents to Washington’s power players.

Still, they want you to think it’s a racist conspiracy theory from xenophobic hillbillies. Nothing could be further from the truth. You need only look at the stream of immigration from the southern border to understand the reality of it all.

But the classic “heckin’ racisms” bait-and-switch obfuscation of the truth is par for the course for the propagandists whose entire career hinges on convincing you of things that simply aren't true to keep you in line at the behest of their employers.

What we have in the United States is a population that has grown up believing they are entitled to certain rights and privileges based on the Constitution, and that presents a problem to those whose entire existence is grabbing as much power as they possibly can.

So if you're a wealthy elitist hellbent on absolute power over the most powerful nation on Earth, what do you do when 120 years of incrementalism and propaganda hasn't stifled that distinctly American spirit to such a degree as to make us compliant enough to accept a dictatorship with the power elite at the helm? You replace the population with people from other countries who are accustomed to a big ol' jackboot on their throat from big daddy government to vote in whatever personnel and measures are needed to finally set the Constitution ablaze.

And what would it really cost the power elite in return for this exaltation by these immigrants who would vote them into power forever, absent some popular uprising? Merely bribing those immigrants with taxpayer money to give them a small taste of the good life, and tell them there is more where that came from if they vote according to the desires of those bribing them. And those desires are simple: throw out the bill of rights and never challenge power with populism.

You see, this approach is integral into instilling a type of Stockholm syndrome in a population. We saw it during covid with stimulus checks, even. Show the smallest bit of kindness to those you wish to subjugate to humanize yourself in their eyes and you can get away with doing some rather terrible things to them later on. And even after doing those terrible things, they will still be loyal to you because you gave them a little taste of humanity before inflicting more psychological and physical harm on them to make sure they know their place.

Another example of this type of psychological manipulation is shown in the trope of companies giving pizza parties to their employees in a feeble attempt to boost the morale of people who are likely overworked and underpaid instead of just paying them what they're worth and being more reasonable with their demands of said employees.

Kamala Harris is that pizza party to convince enough people to vote against their best interest for the sake of the power structure. After nearly 10 years of painting her opponent, Donald Trump, as the second coming of Adolf Hitler even after he had a mostly peaceful™ presidency, the suckers who succumb to such low energy propaganda as what is allowed to pass at MSNBC will be champing at the bit to vote for anyone else. Even a woman who laughs like a villain in a Halloween movie for kids every 5 seconds.

For reference, go back and look at the pictures that are all over North Korea of their ‘dear leaders’ and then look at Kamala Harris’ usual facial expression when laughing. The similarities are uncanny.

It is the trees voting for the lumberjack who will chop them down and every American will suffer if that woman sees the Oval Office. It won't be our country anymore.

4 more years of replacement through unchecked immigration and the electorate that people like Kamala Harris seek to legalize will make sure that they (the power elite) are never opposed by the U.S. citizenry ever again.
