Turning Point USA fights back against The View
Protests are being organized by Turning Point USA after the organization was defamed on Daytime television by the hosts of The View
Turning Point USA has elected to turn up the heat on ABC as they plan to protest in response to the smears they received from The View's hosts on July 25th. To bring anyone unfamiliar with the situation up to speed:
The View spoke about Turning Point USA's Student Action Summit, where Donald Trump, Ron DeSantis, and many other prominent conservative people appeared. Outside the venue there was a rabble of hastily organized agent provocateurs with freshly opened Nazi flags and insignia there to smear the right wing because that's just what happens at these things.
See: Trucker Convoy protests in Canada for more context on how that works. Naturally the apparent neo-nazi group outside the venue was what The View's hosts fixated on, and Whoopi Goldberg accused Turning Point USA of being complicit. Turning Point USA has since sent a cease and desist to ABC and this forced The View's hosts to issue a retraction and a half-hearted apology.
Now that you got the context, let's move on to the real heart of this post. Turning Point USA, in response to the smears from The View and, by extension, ABC, is planning to protest outside Good Morning America's studio in Time Square, as well as conducting a protest outside The View's studio.
The GMA Protest begins at 7 am in Time Square in New York City.
The protest of The View starts at 10 am and will be located at 320 West 66th Street in New York City.
I highly encourage anyone who can attend to be there. This is a very appropriate response and its high time we started disrupting the institutional left's echo chamber at every possible opportunity. Force them to see and hear another perspective. All voices should be heard, not just those who push the dinosaur media's narratives from inside their ivory tower.
Another thing you can do is exactly what I'm doing with this Substack and other avenues: Get your voice out there and make sure your perspective is a part of the conversation as well. I'm new to this, and I'm sure my writing leaves a lot to be desired, but I'm tired of sitting on the sidelines stewing and not doing something. My contributions thus far have been small, but hey, give me time. I'm just getting started. I encourage you to get started, too.
Throw your message at those who disagree with you, but also remember to listen to them as well. You may not agree with them, but that's why we discuss things. And I know from experience not everyone will want to hear you, and that's their choice, but it doesn't mean you don't try to crack their defenses, anyway.
Have conversations, even if they're uncomfortable. Arm yourself with facts and speak candidly. Just don't be silent. The silent majority nonsense doesn't mean a thing if we're just sitting on that majority and doing nothing with it. Sensible people are still in the majority, don't let the propaganda fool you.
It's our job to help eachother to break through the echo chambers and force people to grapple with the cold, hard truth. Not a singular person's truth, that doesn't exist except in the fantasies of leftists. There is just the truth. Be safe out there.
