Twitter's recreationally outraged crowd goes after PewDiePie again

YouTuber PewDiePie, who the woke mob has hounded for years, has been 'canceled' again for making fun of long acrylic nails

I can see it now - a bunch of mindless Twitter NPCs sitting around, scrolling the internet with a dejected expression, looking for anything at all to be outraged at. Sure, they could always just go back to their default of going to conservative accounts criticizing Biden and saying "But what about Orange man bad?" Nah, not today. They’re looking for bigger fish to fry.

But then... in the distance... what's that? PewDiePie made fun of a woman of color? First off - what is a woman? Secondly, her acrylic nails could qualify as a self-imposed disability on their own, nevermind the fact that she is deaf. This fact is one that PewDiePie didn't even know about at the time, but that has never stopped the recreationally outraged NPCs of Twitter before, why would it now? Ignorance is its own crime. If they get tight over their made-up pronouns not being used they're definitely going to get tight over PewDiePie not bothering to check if someone was deaf before he made fun of their fingernails clacking while they did sign language.

It's even more absurd when you consider the fact that there are people who make videos and add in sign language despite not being deaf themselves, as a step of inclusivity for the deaf audience members they might have. Add to that the fact that the woman in question whom people are defending from PewDiePie's innocuous commentary speaks with cadence and clarity as good as any person who is not deaf. I literally didn't understand what I was watching until I learned from TheQuartering's video on the topic that the young woman is deaf. I couldn't tell, otherwise.

The real story here is the fact that PewDiePie has had a target on his back ever since his audience didn't care about him slipping up and saying a bad word once, or wearing a costume that I would bet dollars to donuts most of today's kids wouldn't have known was a Nazi military uniform without being told. That said, he was wearing a costume.

The institutional left and their outrage mob gave Justin Trudeau a pass and he literally made fun of Arabic people by painting his face brown at an event at his high school called "Arabian Nights". Jimmy Kimmel still hasn't been punished for doing blackface and making fun of former NBA player Karl Malone. Jimmy Fallon did it, too.

In fact, I could probably dig up some instance of left-leaning personalities and politicians doing or saying some racially insensitive things and none of it would matter because they're leftists, and leftists will protect their own. They only seek to punish people they believe to be of a different political persuasion than them, which is baffling because I have no idea what PewDiePie's politics are, I don't think he has ever said anything about it. If he has, then please contact me and link it to me.

For now, I'm operating on that assumption, since we're all operating on assumptions - like PewDiePie being racist and ableist for being a straight white man who is insanely successful and has a huge platform. It has become boring at this point.

It really does boil down to unsuccessful people being like crabs in a bucket, trying to bring down those they see succeeding in life. That is cancel culture in a nutshell, and no one is surprised that the most unremarkable members of society are doing all they can to bring down people of status.
