We live in an angry, angry world
Things are becoming more chaotic, and it has everything to do with those at the top.
No news to report this time. Just some 3 am ramblings. Might delete later, I don't know.
How does one transcend God as we know him to be? Shaping the world is certainly one way mankind has sought to be like God. Taking dominion over all that the light touches and molding the very earth to his whims. Somewhere along the line, though, we forgot that God took a day to rest. This is where those at the very top believe themselves to be greater than God, because they never rest. They're never satisfied. They always want more and they want everyone else to have nothing. Do not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.
If you hunger for knowledge of the world's inner workings and try to get to the truth, you are committing the original sin. Not "your" truth. -The- truth. Having a truth exclusive to yourself is fantasy. And whoever posited that "my truth" shit should be suspended from their braided pubic hair.
My reasoning for relating critical thinking to the original sin is this - the storm of noise we are inundated with is meant to keep us from knowing anything except what is acceptable. Stay naked and stupid, don't eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Our false, self-appointed gods have decreed it. And they have enough resources to enforce it, because without their blessing, the world descends into chaos. However, the unspoken part of that is that they're the first pigs to be slaughtered when that happens. What looks like a hostage situation, in a manner of speaking, is really a Mexican standoff.
Whether the elites like it or not, they need us way more than we need them, and our world is full of parables that teach us that lesson. Look not only to religious text, but fiction as well. The Wizard of Oz explains the true nature of the way things are. The Wizard seemed all-powerful until the man behind the curtain was discovered. Merely a weak man projecting the illusion of power.
Our world is ran by weak people merely projecting the illusion of power. The only thing keeping us from looking behind the curtain is the fact that we are kept divided, constantly at eachother's throats. It's such a feeble illusion, yet it works so well. We are constantly given a perceived enemy to hate and enough food that we don't revolt. It's funny how the perceived enemy is never those at the top, though. It's there that the true genius lies.
Think of stories you've heard about wartorn, tribalist nations. There's always a selection of warlords that rise to power, and under them countless people are slaughtered. Yet oddly in times of stalemate, you find relative stability. However, the very second one of those warlords goes down, the resulting power vacuum creates unimaginable chaos that results in more bloodshed and uncertainty.
It's like humanity is incapable of getting along. There never really is true peace, just a temporary ceasefire. The Korean War is the applicable example there. It never really ended, it's just been in a long ceasefire. They signed an armistice, not a treaty, after all.
So long as we're competing for resources, someone will amass way more than their fair share, because to not do so means you're just like everyone else. And we can't have the unwashed masses thinking they're on the level of a Klaus Schwab. Those unwashed masses should eat bugs and live in tiny little pods while having no more than what the "stakeholders" deem to be appropriate. And you will be happy, because you know your place. You know where you stand and you know your limitations. Like fleas in a jar. They can jump out until the lid is placed on and they're forced to adapt to that environment. After a while, even if the lid is removed, they'll no longer be able to jump out. Because they can no longer perceive the ability to do so. Even when the lid is gone, the limitations it imposed are still ingrained.
Comfort stifles growth. Learn to enjoy being uncomfortable, because we have a whole lot of uncomfortable times ahead.
