Nancy Pelosi might kick off World War 3 because she wants to check on her investment by visiting Taiwan
Pelosi's insistance on going to Taiwan is not sitting well with China. Maybe they're just scared of her modeling those well-droopy swingers on the beach.
Pelosi needs to lay off the booze and the Magnum bars. She might very well damn us to a nuclear holocaust because she wants to go look in on the companies she invested in with her recent insider trading move of investing in semiconductor companies ahead of legislation meant to bring more semiconductor production to American shores to compete with China, and by extension, Taiwan.
For context, Nancy Pelosi is leading a delegation of lawmakers on an Asian trip that kicks off tomorrow. The fact that a stop was planned in Taiwan is not sitting well at all with Chinese leaders, who have warned of the potential of China flexing their military might, including but not limited to a potential no-fly zone around Taiwan should US Lawmakers headed by Pelosi decide to go forward with the visit.
"The US will be responsible for all of the serious consequences," said Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian, according to this Sky News article.
In response, the United States has sent the USS Ronald Reagan and its strike group to the South China Sea for a potential counterattack should the Chinese Military decide to make good on their threats. Yeah that's a good sign, thanks, Nancy. Can we ban members of congress and their families from investing in the stock market before we all get nuked? Thanks.
I know that's a bit of a leap in logic but think about it - if China is threatening military action from a visit of US lawmakers and the response is to send war vessels that are undoubtedly packing some heavy armaments, perhaps of the nuclear variety, into the South China Sea. And we've seen how China gets when anyone contests waters they believe to be theirs. I suppose they see the same thing happening with US Lawmakers visiting Taiwan, territory they claim as well.
All this comes on the heels of the recent passage of the CHIPS Act, which I have already an article about, so no need to go into all that again. And don’t get me wrong, I agree fully that we as a nation need to have reliable domestic production of key electronics components, so we’re not beholden to getting them from potential enemies. I just think that the profits for that shouldn’t be funneled back into the coffers of the very country we’re trying to avoid giving money to by bringing meaningful levels of semiconductor production to the US.
It really doesn’t even need to be said, but Chuck Schumer is as much of a Chinese asset as that spy Eric Swalwell slept with. That may work in our favor, though, in case he needs to talk them down from launching an offensive because his drunk buddy Nancy needed a vacation in Taiwan.
Get these dreadful walking corpses out of office, already. Why do they live so long, anyway? Nancy’s blood type is Stolichnaya and she’s chugging right along. Joe Biden forgets to blink for hours at a time, still going strong. Henry Kissinger can give an eye-witness account of the Franco-Prussian war.
I know, Kissinger came from left field, but he’s 300 years old and still operating behind the scenes dictating policy. He’s right in there with our favorite Bond Villain Klaus Schwab, trying to fuck our lives up knowing they’ve got one foot in the grave.
Back to the point at hand, when we have to send an Aircraft Carrier and its Strike Group to hostile waters, it’s time to pay attention. Not treating the threats from Chinese officials as credible can only threaten to lead to another Pearl Harbor moment, and we all remember what happened after that. And what sort of weapons were created, and used as a result.
