North Dakota man kills teen in politically-charged murder
Mainstream media likely won't touch this story with a 50 foot pole, that's why we have to make our own media. Radical leftists are violent extremists.
If I told you without naming parties that a man ran over a teenager for his political beliefs in North Dakota, what would be your first impression? One could be forgiven for believing that a right-wing extremist ran over a kid for having a political affinity for Democrats. North Dakota is a Republican state that Biden lost by 33 points in 2020, so your odds might be better if things were reversed, judging by the population’s party lines, but that would mean you’re wrong.
Shannon Brandt, age 41, made the 911 call to police himself to report that he had run over 18-year-old Cayler Ellingson with his vehicle after an argument, admitting to police that he had been drinking before the incident and that he believed Ellingson to be part of some as-of-yet unnamed Republican extremist group that was, in Brandt’s words, “coming to get him,”. Brandt described Ellingson’s words to him as ‘threatening’ which prompted him to conduct a pre-emptive strike by running the teenager down with his vehicle and cornering him in an alleyway then striking him with his vehicle.
Court documents also disclose a particularly heartbreaking scenario where Ellingson called his mother to ask her if she knew Brandt. This prompted her to attempt to get to her son to get him up before anything could happen. Apparently the mother knew Brandt and clearly she knew what the man was like if her response was to rush out to try and get to her son before Brandt did. A second phone call took place where Ellingson stated that Brandt was chasing him, after which no further attempts to reach Ellingson were successful.
Brandt’s bond is currently set at $50,000 and as of right now he is charged with criminal vehicular homicide and DUI.
I’m just going to say it — Biden’s hateful rhetoric in his infamous “war” speech likely had an influence on Brandt’s perception of Republicans. Not that we will ever hear anything like that. When Ricky Shiffer attacked the FBI’s Cincinatti field office, it was easy to tie the angst that led him to commit that crime to the raid on Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago Home, so I am wondering if the mainstream news media will make the same connection with Brandt’s crime. I’m betting no.
So far, this story has had not a peep mentioned about it in mainstream media. It’s telling that a teenager killed in politically-charged violence doesn’t make national news but it is exceedingly obvious why. It’s the same reason the killing of Aaron Danielson in Portland at the hands of far-left extremist and Antifa member Michael Reinoehl, who later died in an altercation with police, didn’t make too many waves in the media — a Republican was the victim in both cases — so it is not worth mentioning as we don’t want voters to see that the left has resorted to extremist violence on more than one occasion and innocent lives were lost as a result. Least of all this close to an exceedingly important midterm election cycle where the fate of the country seems to be on the ballot.
And who can forget the 5/29 insurrection? Ahh, let me rephrase that — who can remember the 5/29 insurrection? You know, that time in May of 2020 where rioters burned and looted Washington D.C., then attempted to break into the White House, forcing Secret Service agents — 67 of which were wounded — to take then-President Donald Trump to a secure bunker until the Secret Service and Washington D.C. police could restore order. And nary a peep about a May 29th committee. I’m not asking for the puppets in Washington D.C. to drop the January 6th show trial, by any means. I just want inquiries made into the myriad of other violent events perpetrated by leftist terrorists, which far outweigh the size and scope of January 6th, but are not talked about because the institutional left doesn’t punish their own.
This country is on the precipice of tearing itself apart and the media would love for that to happen because their ratings would be spectacular and the advertising dollars plentiful. Nothing quite caps off coverage of the second civil war quite like an ad from Applebee’s, but not today. Today we bury the story of a young man whose mother now has to bury him after an untimely death by a deranged leftist extremist killer.
The left likes to harp on about equality, but never is it allowed in the court rooms or in the court of public opinion. It’s why they were so incensed that the Supreme Court isn’t controlled by them. It’s why they still call for packing the Supreme Court to this day. The radical elements of the institutional left cannot stand for even a single institution to not be under their psychotic control. We are two steps from coming under the thumb of a true authoritarian dictatorship and people like me will be the first ones marched in front of firing squads or into gulags for reporting on it without a severe leftward bias. The second will be the useful idiots who the new dictatorship won’t want to risk rising up to overthrow them.
Am I saying everyone who leans left is like that? Certainly not, their extremist faction is a noisy minority of a greater collective, the same with those on the right, and the same with people like me who feel they’re ultimately politically homeless. Unfortunately for me, the condition of current political paradigms seems to be that anyone to the right of Stalin is considered alt-right. I honestly despise having to side with the right as much as I do but it’s come to this, it seems. There’s no breaking the stranglehold on our political systems from the outside so long as no prominent figures can ascend to lead the charge.
None of that matters, though. We should all be thinking of a young man whose life was cut short and who the world will not remember because it wasn’t politically expedient to do so.
