CT Attorney General threatens Project Veritas
True to the deep blue state of Connecticut, the cultists are working hard to protect one of their own and threatening journalists to do it.
Some of you may remember the story of Jeremy Boland, assistant principal of Cos Cob Elementary in Greenwich, CT, who was caught on camera by Project Veritas admitting to breaking several discrimination laws in his hiring practices for teachers, as well as admitting his agenda was indoctrination of school children to ‘vote Democrat’. He has since been placed on administrative leave pending investigation. Boland’s hiring practices were geared not toward hiring the best teachers for the job in order to properly educate kids, but to hire young activists to indoctrinate the kids and eliminate parents from their child’s education process entirely for possibly nefarious reasons.
James O’Keefe of Project Veritas has since released a letter he had received from Connecticut Deputy Associate Attorney General Greg O’Connell — undoubtedly at the behest of Connecticut’s activist Attorney General William Tong — asking O’Keefe and his employees to preserve materials — that is, save unedited footage — that was used to produce the video Project Veritas posted on YouTube in order to use it in their civil rights investigation against Boland for discriminatory hiring practices. Then, they decide threatening O’Keefe and his organization is the best play, for some reason.
The letter in question states, ”This letter is your notice to preserve all material potentially relevant to this investigation. You must take immediate action to prevent the deletion or spoilation of any such material. The obligations detailed here extend to you and all of your employees and agents.”
The letter continues, “We anticipate issuing subpoenas for relevant material. If our investigation substantiates a pattern or practice of illegal conduct, we may initiate appropriate litigation to enforce federal and state law.”
It seems harmless enough, except for that less-than-thinly-veiled threat of litigation against Project Veritas should they not capitulate to the Attorney General’s demands. Furthermore, it’s very likely that the whole goal of the ‘investigation’ is to find something in the unedited footage that would somehow absolve Boland from his crimes and to try and put a black mark on Project Veritas’ impeccable reputation.
After all, the institutional left doesn’t prosecute themselves, or their ilk. They are also very much in the business of discrediting honest journalists who won’t spout their lies for them.
The rest of the letter just pays lip service to the scope of the investigation, saying that they will trace things back to Boland’s first employment with the Greenwich public school system, but they’ve already said their piece. I don’t think much justice will be meted out from the Connecticut court system with this one. That’s why the court of public opinion matters much more. Parents are an increasingly important voting block, and I think parents nationwide should know these things are happening, and vote accordingly.
If you’ve been following my coverage of this story as it has unfolded, you will also remember me covering the biased sentiments and course of act from Kate Dias of the Connecticut Education Association when she issued a memo to members warning against talking to any press for fear of making the situation worse. It should be noted that the first action Dias took wasn’t to get to the bottom of the fact that a person was actively discriminating against members of the union when they were considered for employment, but to protect the cult. It makes me wonder also if anything will come of the school board’s investigation of Boland. I’m betting the answer is no.
It should be in the best interest of the Greenwich school board to ensure that students are learning what they’re supposed to be learning since test scores in Greenwich are down when compared to pre-covid levels. English test scores dropped 1.7 points to 77.6 percent. The district’s Average math scores fell 2.1 points to 74.2 percent. Science grades fared the best, dropping just 0.2% to land at 77.2%. Still, a drop is a drop.
Isn’t it odd that there is seemingly no concern whatsoever for the prospect that teachers hired by Boland likely would not stick to mandated curriculum despite lagging test scores? Is it not a requirement of the job to teach the curriculum they’re given to teach? Giving too much leeway and excluding parents from knowing what their kids are actually being taught is exactly why there is an epidemic of indoctrination in American schools. As Boland puts it, “You’re teaching them [children] how to think. That's it. It doesn't matter what they think about. If they think about it in a logical, progressive way, that becomes their habit.” In other words, indoctrination. I also still take offense to him misusing the word ‘logical’ — I’ve never met a logical progressive. They all give me crazy cat owner vibes. But I digress.
This whole situation points to a bigger problem. The goal was never to educate your kids for future success. Those clinging to power want to create obedient students who will grow up and vote for more bad policies that will sell them further and further down the river, and they’re infiltrating absolutely every institution to do it. These poor, brainwashed students they’re painstakingly indoctrinating will go on to be obedient consumers that don't complain that the American dream is dead. They will own nothing and be happy, and they will be paying monthly installments on their very existence for life with no way to create wealth because they will be obedient workers spinning their tires in dead-end jobs to afford those aforementioned monthly installments. And they won’t have the words left to complain once the language is perfect.
All of this for the benefit of a self-appointed ruling class who think they’ve earned a divine right to rule over the ashes of the society they’re working tirelessly to burn to the ground, hoping their ideal authoritarian utopia will rise from its ashes.
Look beyond the curtain at the face of the enemy and understand that you and your families are under attack.
